Selection Clearing itself When Selecting Reversely

I'm not sure if its Scintilla or wxWidgets so I have posted same in two
lists.
I have a highlight all similar words functionality that works when user
selects forward but clears selection when selecting in reverse.
Suppose we have word STEFANO. If users drags mouse from S to O it works and
after releasing mouse selection remains. If He did the other way
i.e from O to S it will select and at release of mouse it will clear
selection. Is this scintilla behavior?

If not a scintilla problem, is there any distinction on how selection was
done? I have read all docs still I cannot understand why it behaves that way

TIA

No.

SciTE is a free download for Windows or Linux and can be used to check default behaviour.

I actually use scite to learn alot about scintilla. Its that this behaviour
have puzzled me and scite was of no help here.
Thanks, I have posted to wxWidgets List!

I have checked Scite and I cannot see why mine is not working.
I have made a video (1.4Mb) that illustrates what I get. Its located here<http://forums.wxwidgets.org/download/file.php?id=2943>.
If you have time (few seconds) you can see and advise what might be going
wrong.
Here are the tests I do:
First time I double click the word it selects fine and marks the similar
words fine
Second time I select from left to right and it selects and marks fine.
Last time I select from right to left and it does not work. I try to select
bottom to top and it does not work either.
