A long time ago, the function wxForceScintillaLexers was added to Scintilla so that wxStyledTextCtrl would link correctly. Later this was generalised to Scintilla_LinkLexers. wxStyledTextCtrl (2.8.12 checked) appears to have changed to Scintilla_LinkLexers. Since some checking tools show warnings for wxForceScintillaLexers, it will be removed unless someone claims it is still needed.

The wxForceScintillaLexers function has now been removed. Scintilla_LinkLexers is the replacement although I expect all platform layers updated many many years ago.
